It's Fall Ya'll!

Every fall for the past four years, we've spent an evening up at Silver Lake, enjoying the beautiful fall colors and crisp mountain air.
This year did not disappoint!

Lucy and I had yet another impromptu photo shoot.
We saw pretty yellow, red, brown, and orange colors. The way they reflected in the lake was super cool.

Mom and the kiddos.
A friendly fisherman offered to take our photo as a family but Lucy wasn't too happy about that.

There were lots of ducks too.  They didn't let you come right up to them but they did let you get pretty close. The kiddos loved that.
They had fun walking along the boardwalk but there was also a bit of whining.  That's why I love Silver Lake so much for the kids - it's flat and relatively easy and short so the whining only lasts so long.

"Head ride" on Daddy.
Mommy and Lucy.

And a second attempt at a family photo.  This time we bribed Lucy to smile. Hey, whatever works, right?!

My handsome little man.

Lucy wanted in on the action. The end was in sight and she was getting a bit happier.

Lucy and Daddy.

Sammy and Mommy.

And one last pretty one to end the day. I love fall!
