Christmas just gets better and better as the kids get older and more aware of what's coming. On Christmas Eve, my mom came over and the kids just couldn't wait for her to get there. When she did, they literally jumped up and down with excitement because it meant Christmas was starting and Santa would be coming even sooner.
We opened new, matching jammies (mine looked like Lucy's but there isn't a single picture of me in them!), a new board game (Candyland) and movie (Rudolph). Then we played and headed to bed.
Christmas morning Spencer took the kids downstairs to watch Rudolph and they let me sleep in! After I got up, we opened gifts and the kids loved it. It's so fun when they are little like this. We open a present, play with it for a few minutes, and then open another. It drags it out and I love that!
We got another Tag pen and a bunch of new books. These things are so great and the kids really like them.
Sammy got some new train tracks, cars, a play mat for his cars, and books.
Lucy got baby doll bunk beds and a high chair, a singing Rapunzel doll, and this Rapunzel doll from my mom. In fact, she got another Rapunzel doll from her aunts too! She looks so much like this doll, it's crazy.
Here she is modeling a new dress she got. We spent most of the day just relaxing and hanging out as a family. After dinner, we headed over to the Van Hoose's where the kids continued to be spoiled.
This was one of the presents she got from Grandpa and Nana Mac - the castle stickers. It was a really nice, fun, relaxing Christmas. My only regret is that I didn't take more pictures! I need to get better at having the kids take some posed photos and next year my goal is to get one of all four (five!) of us in our jammies.

I'm horrible at getting pictures of all of us! When we do, we use the timer and they turn out horrible...but I know I will treasure them. Best of luck to both of us on taking more pictures as a family!
What awesome stickers!
Well I like what you did have here to share. :) Christmas is so fun as a parent. I like opening the presents slowly, too.
