This pretty well sums up how I feel about October. :)
October 1st I hosted BUNCO at my house. It was super fun!
The next day was a day off and we had the genius idea to go to Thanksgiving Point. So did everyone else! It was crowded but we got Sam to go on the rope bridge so that was a success.
It was cloudy and threatened rain so outside was a bit calmer.
My monkey!
It's funny how much my kids love teeter totters!
The next day Spencer and I attended the afternoon session of General Conference. It was great and historic - they announced 3 new apostles but we were late getting in so we missed it.
Church in our jammies!
Eliza hanging out with Mom at the school. She needed her backpack, just like big brother and sister.
Playing outside. :)
Eliza's hair is crazy. I found a new hairdo that keeps it a little bit in control.
Playing with her buddy Rory.
Shopping with Mom at Old Navy. She loved this "woof!"
I hosted book club this month. It was our 10th anniversary so I held a birthday party. :)
The stacks of books are all books we've read in the past.
Our turn to clean the church!
Hanging out at the Jordan River.
And playing on the playground.
My handsome boy.
My bats!
Eliza hanging out with her buddy Ella at the school playground after their big brothers went to school.
Feeding the ducks at Gardner Village after family pictures.
Cool wall at Gardner Village.
Every year they had a witch display there but this year the kids were more interested in the pirates.
Arg! Matey!
My witch and devil.
Her head didn't quite fit!
Dentist appointment! Only 1 cavity between the three of them!
On our way back from visiting my grandparents, we decided to go out for dinner to Texas Roadhouse. It was delicious!
My latest crafty project. :)
Sometimes the cloud and the mountains are just amazing. I love the view out our back door.
Playing trains with Sam.
Lucy had her friend Brittany over for a play date and they had fun with the board games.
Lucy discovered Battleship and it's now her favorite game.
Eliza sat on the potty for the first time! Yay! She's been gaining more words from her speech therapy and said "potty" so I sat her on it. It was adorable. Hopefully we'll get her potty trained soon.
Found this assignment of Sam's while volunteering in his class. Isn't it adorable?
Another night out - this time to Zupas. Man, I love that place!
