And now for our 11th installment of monthday photos! I felt like I had to take a ton to get a couple good ones because she's constantly moving now but I ended up with a bunch of good ones, so enjoy! This one makes me laugh because it totally looks like she's posing. It's next to impossible to pose an eleven-month-old, even in their sleep. Which, by the way, Lucy is getting better at, though there is still room for improvement. She's usually sleeping through the night now, with waking once occasionally.

She loves to play these days. She'll completely entertain herself by walking around, exploring the cupboards that aren't off-limits (especially the spices, she loves to grab them and just carry them around the house), play the piano, and use us as jungle gyms.

She's developing her own special personality too. Whenever she wakes up, I'll go in her room and she's pointing at something. What? I don't know, but the girl loves to point at just about everything. I think it's how she explores and acknowledges her world.

She's gotten 4 new teeth since last month. They are the four in the middle on the top and boy does she like to use them!

During the month, Lucy became an expert at crawling. It's amazing how quickly she could disappear when we turned our backs!

Now, however, she prefers to walk. Yep, I said walk! April 8th she took her first solo steps and she hasn't looked back since!

She's so grown up now that she won't eat baby food anymore. In fact, there are hardly any foods she'll let us feed her. She wants to do it herself so everything is now a finger food. We also started her on milk (a little early, I know). Because of the biting, she is getting weaned from breast milk a bit earlier than expected and she's learned how to use a sippy cup.

We've enjoyed the beautiful spring weather and Lucy likes to explore with us, especially the flowers so she was excited when I actually let her touch this one. I didn't mind when she destroyed the dandelion!

I can't believe she's walking! What a cutie. Can you believe you'll have a 1-year-old soon?
She is so stinkin cute and so big!
She is so cute, and you take the most darling photos! You can see her personality in all of them. :)
I can't believe she is already 11months. I love the picture of her crawling in the grass. Her eyes look so beautiful. We will have to set up time for you to take MacRae's pictures.
She's a doll!!
