This past week was Spencer's spring break, and though the weather didn't cooperate (snow, rain, and wind), we still managed to have a good time and to get lots done.

Spencer got our front door re keyed, made screens for our front room windows, and reorganized and inventoried our food storage.

He had a great little helper all along the way too. Lucy loved playing with the tools and spending extra time with her daddy.
Easter morning, Lucy woke up to find the Easter bunny had left her a full basket of goodies.

One of the things in her basket was The Princess and the Frog. Here she is doing her sign for frog. This isn't the actual sign for it so it cracks me up every time she does this. It's such a cute expression.

We also colored eggs that morning. She loved this!

She kept moving the eggs from dye to dye and kept trying to put more than one in each cup. She was so upset when we told her it was time to be done.

Once we finally pulled her away, her hands were brown from all the dye. This is definitely an activity we will have to keep doing with her through the years.

Later in the day, in her cute Easter outfit, we had her hunt eggs around the house.

The kitty got to one of them first and batted it all the way down the stairs - she thought that was pretty funny.

Then we went to my dad's for Easter dinner and she got to hunt eggs again! She was one spoiled little girl - she got a basket of fun stuff from Mommy and Daddy, one from Nana Manwill, one from Grandpa and Grandma Mac, and one from Great-Grandpa and Grandma Mac. You'd have thought it was Christmas!! :)

She is just too much fun! I can't believe how much she is 'talking' now. She is really jabbering away.
