Spring Break came a bit early this year as Easter also did. We had cool weather for the first half and then beautiful weather. We got a bunch of house projects done and lots of family time as well.
This picture was actually a week earlier, on St. Patrick's Day. We do a lot to celebrate - we wear green. Ya, that's it! But since it was a Sunday, I made the kids matching outfits - a tie and skirt. They looked pretty stylin' if I say so myself!
We made mini pizzas one night for dinner.
The kids had a good time making their own - even if they only had cheese on theirs!
We headed out to go see the birds at the Aviary on afternoon but were too late. :(
So we decided to spend some time on the playground.
Liberty Park has a pretty good playground and we had lots of fun.
We brought the camera along and went a bit crazy. But these kids were just too cute to pass up! :)
Daddy and his kiddos.
They have fun instruments to play.
And things to climb.
And run around in.
I absolutely adore this picture! Her expression is just too funny! She was trying to run away from me before I could get a picture.
Then she just decided to give in. :)
We played lots of Candyland and had many a jammie day.
And we played with friends. I love this picture. We have such great neighbors and I love that the kids have friends nearby. Sammy and Simon were playing baseball together (well, as best as two almost-three-year-olds can), and Lucy was drawing with her buddies on the driveway.
And we even got a little cleaning and organizing in before taking off for a few days to Minersville.
