After a few busy days at home, we took off for Minersville, where "Grandma and Grandpa Great that live far, far, away" live.
We had a wonderful time just relaxing.
The kids decorated Easter eggs. Grandpa supervised. ;)
Daddy helped write names on eggs and Grandma and I took care of the dye.
We also had an Easter egg hunt, but with eggs a bit less breakable.
The kids had a great time finding, hiding, finding, hiding, finding, hiding, the eggs.
This was our attempt at a picture of both of them. Maybe next year?
Lucy and her very full basket. Let's just say that Grandma and Grandpa spoiled them a bit!
The neighbor saw us out playing and came over and offered to let us take the kids out on the 4 wheeler. They didn't know quite what to make of it at first but they ended up loving it!
After each kid had two turns with Daddy, Spencer and I went out together. We took an extra long tour of Minersville and even headed up a trail. It was beautiful weather and so nice to just go out the two of us - kind of a mini-date.
We also spent a good amount of time at the local park.
I don't know how the kids can stand these things but they love them!
We brought kites with us and had a great time flying them.
Lucy especially loved it.
I love this shot Spencer got.
Sammy wasn't as much a fan and I ended up flying his lots.
Sadly, this is the only time I've had my pregnant belly photographed so far. I should really fix that soon!
I am 31 weeks along in these pictures.
The kids loved the see-saws.
I think this was Sammy's favorite part of the park.
Look at that happy face!
I had such a great time just taking it easy. Spencer let me sleep in every morning during Spring Break and took over so much with the kids. It was a wonderful break and made me look forward to summer!
