Lucy played soccer again this year on a team full of her neighborhood friends.
It was so much more fun this year!
She hardly got nervous and shy at all and was even super aggressive a good part of the time.
And she loves to run. I love this picture! :)
She had lots of spectators come watch her too - Nana Manwill, Grandma Van Hoose, Grandpa & Nana Mac, and even Great Grandpa & Grandma Mac.
I loved watching her come out of her shell and go after the ball.
And she loved running, playing with her friends, treats after every game, and the trophy she got at the end. :)
We also (and by we, I mean Spencer and the kids, as I was 8 months pregnant at the time) ran in the Truman 5k. It's a fundraiser the local school (where Lucy will be going and Spencer will be teaching) that the PTA puts on.
It's super fun and Lucy had a great time actually running during it this year. They also do a raffle and she won us some tickets to Hale Center Theatre!
This big girl also graduated from preschool! She has loved going to Miss Margene's this year and it's helped her with her shyness. Miss Margene said that she volunteered in class and participated all the time. They also did an evaluation of her academics at the end of the year and she is a smarty! Sadly, Lucy got nervous and didn't really participate in the graduation program but she did get a picture with her teacher.
The graduation was at the West Valley Fitness Center and we let the kids play in their activity center for awhile.
They had a great time.
And, to finish this post off - a super cute, funny picture of Sammy eating corn on the cob. Yay for summer and its fresh fruits and veggies!
