Joey's one month photo shoot.
I did this type of photo shoot for Sam and Eliza at one week old but since we were still in the NICU at that point, it had to wait.
I briefly considered waiting until he is off the oxygen but I decided instead to document this phase in our and his lives.
This little boy is so precious to me and the oxygen is a symbol of that - that we will do whatever we need to do to keep him healthy and thriving.
Joey is back up to his birth weight and growing well. He's starting to fatten up too! I love seeing his little baby fat rolls.
We are hopeful that he's almost done with the oxygen. We've been lowering the amount given pretty regularly.
He is working on holding his head up and is a pretty chill, happy guy.
He is so very loved too, by all members of our family!
