Ahhhh..... Summer! Is everyone else enjoying it as much as we are? It's only been two weeks since Spencer got out for the year and we've done a lot already. 
The first Monday we took the Safety Patrol kids to Lagoon. Lucy loved it!! We could only go on two rides with her because she's so small but she loved them. 
We rode the train once and did the carousel a few times. We also went to Lagoon-a-Beach and braved the freezing cold water for a couple of laps around the lazy river. 
We ran into my dad, Patti, and Haley while we were there and they got in on some of the fun too. 
Lucy also loved the fountain at the front. She loved sticking her hand in the water as it sprayed up. Needless to say, she needed to change after that adventure. It was a fun way to see Lagoon. Usually when I'm there I'm hurried to get my money's worth but we got in for free and it was nice to just walk around, people watch, and actually see the Pioneer Village (I'll bet there are some kids who don't even know it's there!). 
We've also made it to another Bees game - Look how grown up Lucy looks sitting by herself! Spencer and I went to the 311 concert with his sister Julie and her husband Aaron. We also finished off Birthday Season (we have 9 birthdays within 16 days between our two families - including us - mine was on the 6th and Spencer's on the 12th). 
And, last but certainly not least, Spencer has successfully installed a new garage door opener. Our old one was old and didn't have the safety features we wanted so, with a nice discount, we got a new one. His brother Jeff came over and helped a TON and I did a little, and now it's in! Yeah!! (Spencer wasn't too thrilled to take the photo but he humored me:)

Great to hear you are having a fun summer so far. Lucy looks adorable in those sunglasses! You've got some great pictures! Pat Spencer on the back for me for installing the garage door opener.. you've got yourself a handy man.

Yea! I see Lucy can wear that cute "Got Squeak?" shirt! It seemed like it would be forever before she'd be able to wear it back when we got it!!
