12 months!

These pictures have actually been downloaded for a week now but I've been delaying posting them because of Lucy's 12 month appointment. It was supposed to be Monday but after an hour of searching, my keys were nowhere to be found (still haven't been, come to think of it) and we had to reschedule for Thursday, which ended up being too busy with helping Spencer finish up the school year. So we've rescheduled for the 17th and honestly, that's just too far away to wait so the 12 months stats will have to have their own little post. Now that the long explanation is over, it's time for the pictures and monthly update on our little dinosaur!
It's amazing how fast kids pick things up! Lucy is a regular 'ole pro at walking now. She almost never crawls. She's getting fast too. I'll turn around and she'll be at the other end of the house. She's also learned a bunch of signs. We've been teaching her a little bit of baby sign language and she's doing great. She has learned milk, more, food, all done, dog, and her favorite - cat. She'll go around the house just doing cat over and over and over again. It's nice to have a better idea of what she wants/needs instead of just guessing when she cries. She got another tooth too - now she's got 7. She has her first dentist appointment next Tuesday so we'll see how that goes. She hates having her teeth brushed. Oh, and she's showing her personality more and more - by throwing fits when she doesn't get her way. I thought that wasn't supposed to happen until the terrible twos... hmmm..... :)
