Eliza turned 6 months old at the beginning of December.
A couple of days before, I was getting worried that she hadn't turned over yet. Then the next day, she did!
The other two rolled over from their backs to their bellies but had a hard time going back the other way. Not Eliza. I guess she figured she'd wait to do anything until she could do both. So she was later rolling over, but was able to go both ways. And now she loves to go every where!
She loves baby food - especially carrots. And she loves putting anything and everything in her mouth.
Our really good sleeper had a hard time sleeping during this month. I think a combination of me getting lazy and letting her nurse to sleep and the excitement of being able to roll over messed her up a bit. She'd roll over in her bed and wake herself up. Then she'd want to nurse to get back to sleep.
She is still a super happy baby and a joy to be around. People stop me at the store and comment on her cheeks and smile.
And check out those thighs!
This is how she soothes herself - she sucks on her two middle fingers. It's adorable and convenient! :)
