Everyday Moments - Fall 2013

Here are a few pictures from moments of the last part of 2013 that were too cute or memorable to leave out of the blog but didn't have enough pictures for their own posts.

One night with dinner we had raspberries and the kids discovered they could put them on their fingers like they do olives. Hilarious fun ensued!

At the beginning of September, Lucy got her first black eye! We were coming home from school and she climbed into the back of the double stroller. Well it tipped over and she landed right in the wrong spot. The last traces of it were still there for picture day a week later. Ah, memories!

There are a bunch of kids Lucy's age in our neighborhood and in her class. This is another Lucy and we spend many mornings before school having play dates. This day we made some cookies. Yum!

They say the work of childhood is play. Well, our kids are great at their job!

Look Mom! A cave!

At the beginning of November, Eliza had her first taste of "solids" and she hasn't looked back! She loves eating big people food. :)

Sammy wanted Eliza to watch a movie with him during rest time. Aren't they adorable?

Both kids love taking care of Eliza. This is one way they do that - helping to feed her.

Sammy gave up his naps around the time he turned 3 but every once in awhile he gets so tired he succumbs. This was how I found him one afternoon. :)

We decided to start doing one on one dates or nights out with our kiddos and I got to take the first turn.  Sammy and I went out to Discovery Gateway and then for a cupcake.

Lucy and I went swimming at a rec center and then out for ice cream.

The kids also love doing crafts. This was a project I didn't get to during the last Relief Society craft night.

Blocks are the greatest of toys!

Our Thanksgiving break was productive. Spencer replaced our old and leaking faucet. It was a bugger! I am so grateful for his willingness to figure things out around the house.

Eliza had her first "play date" at church. Rory is a couple of weeks younger than she is and they just had a blast playing together at church one week.

Love these kiddos! Sometimes it's the little things - like playing with cheap headbands and the camera on the ipad! :)
