Everyday Moments May 2016

Play date with Brittany!

Daddy/Daughter date at Classic Skating.

She even met Ray from Star Wars!

Hanging with Nana at a soccer game.

Spencer coaching the Sea Turtles.

Playing Battleship with Sam!

I had a crazy week one week in May and ate out a lot. I was quite adventurous though! This was ramen from a Japanese restaurant. The next two days I spent at the Utah PTA convention (didn't take any pics though!) and one day we went out for Peruvian food (amazing!) and the next for Vietnamese.

Fun selfie with this cute girl!

We had another book club retreat! This time we went to a cabin at Sundance. After a month of craziness, it was exactly what I needed. I read and relaxed and ate and just thoroughly enjoyed myself.

We had fun with the selfie stick too. :)

Saturday was so relaxed we had breakfast at 10, lunch at 3:30, and dinner around 9. It was awesome.

Lauren, Katie, and I enjoying the porch.

I helped out at kindergarten field day.

After the fun, the kids got to practice having school lunch for next year when they are big 1st graders!

Fun at the parent picnic. It was so windy!

Just found this pic and it cracked me up!

On the 21st, I had the great opportunity to go to the Youthlinc benefit dinner. This was the group I went to Kenya and Peru with when I was younger.

When I went to Kenya, we were the very first group to go. My journalism teacher in high school, Judy Zone started the program. She retired this year and invited all the first years to come to the benefit at a discount.

There were 14 of the original 19 of us that went that year (2000). It was an amazing night of catching up and reminiscing.

Here are most of us in Kenya!

We had so much fun, we ended up staying until almost everything was put away! And this guy was so patient throughout - he hung out with the other husbands and was a great sport.

"I a princess Mommy. I 'Punzel!"

Came out of my room from taking a nap to find this little one conked out at the table!
