The second week of May was teacher appreciation week at school and one of Spencer's students gave him an awesome gift - tickets to the Bees game!
They were on the front row, just a section or two over from the Bees dugout.
We brought the camera and had fun taking pictures of the game.
And we were right in front of the bullpen.
The catcher was literally in front of us and Spencer asked him if we could get a ball for our kids.
He tossed one over a few minutes later and the kids were super excited.
Eliza had a chance to wear her Rockford Peach outfit again and she looked adorable, even if she was a bit tired and ornery.
We spent a lot of the game explaining the rules to Lucy. It was fun to see her get excited about baseball - a sport Spencer and I both love.
Our family!
On the way out an usher gave us a ball too! It had been a foul. We had a great time at the ballpark!
