Spring Break this year was a bit shorter than it's been in the past. We had Thursday, Friday, Monday, & Tuesday off. We had talked about going camping but didn't get our ducks in a row in time and it rained for most of the break. So instead, we did a bit of a staycation.
Spencer had to go to meetings on the first day, Thursday, so we celebrated the beginning of the break with a night out at In-N-Out.
The food was cheap, delicious, and we had a great time!
The next day we dyed eggs. We tried something new this year - using whipped cream and food coloring.
It kind of worked.
Plus, it was delicious!
We also headed down to Thanksgiving Point and played at the Museum of Natural Curiosity.
I'm really glad we renewed our membership there. It's just so nice to have somewhere to go play whenever we want, especially when the weather is less than ideal.
Saturday morning we went to our neighborhood Easter egg hunt. The kids got so many eggs! We also went Easter clothes shopping with Nana.
We decided to walk to church on Easter and take some pictures on the way home. Lucy was the only one willing to recreate last year's picture on the playground. Sam was in a silly, hilarious mood, and Eliza was too distracted.
We managed to get a good one in front of a tree on the way home. Aren't they good lookin'?!
Our last fun activity was heading to the Wairhouse for some jump time. The kids had lots of fun and it wore them way out. Oh! And we went to see Zootopia as well - just didn't take a picture. We had a fun, close to home vacation. :)
