For Eliza's birthday we had family and a couple of friends over for dinner, cake, and ice cream.
It was fun but chaotic!
Because of her cute "uno" outfit (which I have no pictures of here but are on her 12 month photos post), I went with a rainbow theme for the cake and cupcakes.
She loved the cake. Like LOVED it!
At one point, as she was shoveling it in with one hand, the other hand was already getting ready for its turn. It was hilarious and adorable.
And then she was done!
She wasn't terribly excited about the clean up part of things though!
After a quick bath, we opened presents. A glow worm of her own from Lucy and Sammy.
They each have one and they are all different, which is fun.
We also gave her this dinosaur ball toy (shh! yes, it's the same one that's been in storage in our basement that Lucy got when she was a baby.).
She loves it!
She was also given an adorable doll from our friend and neighbor Ashley, a Mrs. Potato Head from Hillary, and clothes, shoes, and toys from her grandparents. Overall, it was a successful, tiring birthday!
