Near the end of July we took the kids up Little Cottonwood Canyon to hike to Cecret Lake, which is how the people who made the signs misspelled Secret Lake.
It was so nice to get out and enjoy the mountains.
The kids all did a really good job with the hike too - although Eliza did ride on Daddy's back most of the way. :)
I had never hiked in this area and it was beautiful!

It's a mile to the lake. It was really pretty but windy there.
We brought a picnic dinner and enjoyed some family time at the top.
We will definitely be back!
