Funny Kid

Here are a few pictures of some of the funny things Lucy has been doing lately. She cracks me up every day with the new things she finds to amuse, entertain, and explore.
This is her new favorite way to play peek-a-boo. You ask her "Where's Lucy?" and she covers her face.
Then "Peek-a-Boo!"
Lovin' Mama's sunglasses!!
She's pretty much outgrown this toy but has learned to climb in and out of it now so it's exciting again.
Just chillin'!
We moved this toddler bed into her room to clean out the garage and start her getting used to it. Occasionally I'll put her down for a nap on it. We peeked in one afternoon to find her fast asleep like this. Funny kid!!

15 months... and the ward campout

I've been getting a bit lazy about having a photo shoot specifically for the monthdays. Instead, I've been including them with other events - last month with my niece's birthday and this month with the ward campout. At least I'm getting them taken. This coming month there isn't anything going on so hopefully I'll be a bit more on the ball!!

Lucy is officially a little girl now. We were at Costco the other day and another kid pointed to her and said "baby." Her mom corrected her and said, that's not a baby, that's a little girl." Kind 0f a sad moment for me. Although, I must admit she is fun as a little girl! She is up to 12 teeth now - only 8 to go for a full mouth. She also has about 15-20 signs and a couple of words, though she only says them occasionally. She is into everything now! The garbage can now resides on a counter as you never know what Lucy might throw in there (maybe my missing car keys?). She's also running and climbing all over. The cutest thing she does is give kisses, even with her binki in. We love this little girl!

Last weekend was our ward's campout up at Willard Bay. It was a lot of fun! We have a lot of young families in our ward and there were a bunch of little kids there that Lucy had a lot of fun playing with. We had yummy tin foil dinners, s'mores, a fun sing-a-long and campfire Friday night. Then after a rough night of sleeping for Lucy (due to the freeway nearby and the teenagers around the fire), we had a big pancake breakfast the next morning. We packed up camp and then spent the day playing on the beach and in the bishop's boat. Lucy fell asleep five minutes after we got in and slept the whole time. Spencer waterskiied and we both took a ride on the raft/tube. We had a great time!
