Lucy 2 1/4 years old!
Since Lucy is so big now, we're doing 1/4 year pictures instead of monthday pictures.
We took these while on a walk up at Silver Lake in Big Cottonwood Canyon.
The leaves were so pretty and she was just hamming it up. Check out that grin!
Lucy learns so much every single day. Her vocabulary just keeps growing and growing. She loves to play with her kitchen and she loves to sing and dance.
She also likes watching Mickey Mouse Clubhouse, Pooh Bear, and Wonder Pets. She's getting along better with Sammy around too - learning that Mommy has to help him more sometimes. She says the cutest things too - "Love ewe Mommy." Probably the most exciting news about Lucy this past little while is her efforts and successes with potty training! During August, she decided she wanted to potty train but kept having accidents so she decided to go back to diapers. Then at the end of the month, it was like something clicked for her.
She now goes in the potty during the day, as long as she doesn't have to poop. We're still working on her with that - I think it scares her or something. Either way, I am one proud Mama. And a relieved Mama too - 2 diapers a day is so much better than 5ish! Way to go Lucy!

Sammy 4 Months Old
So, if you look at my blog history, you can see that I normally don't wait 2 months between posts. The reason for this delay? My computer cord for my camera pooped out on me! I don't believe in posts without pictures so I finally broke down and took my card to Walmart and got a cd.
So, after a 2 month hiatus, here are Sammy's 4 month pictures. I actually wrote this back when he was 4 months old, so enjoy!
Well as you can see, we have a very big baby boy.
He weighs 20 lbs. 3 oz. already and is now in the 99%.
He's also 26.3 inches long - 86%. He's in great health and only cried a little during his shots :(.
Sammy learned to roll over too. He rolled from his back to his front for the first time on his 4th monthday.
He's also been experimenting with his voice. He loves to squirm, to sit up while being held, and to smile.
He loves to play with his fingers. We were worried that he'd become a thumb sucker since he hasn't taken to a binky but doesn't seem too interested in that either. Hopefully we won't have to break him of either habit!
