A glimpse into the everyday from February 2015:
One Sunday afternoon we made yummy banana cupcakes. :)
We use this table from Grandpa Great (that lives far, far, away) all the time! :)
Eliza didn't feel well for about a week. One of those days she was up for the day at 4 am. One moment she was playing on the table and the next moment, I turned around and found her fast asleep.
Our dishwasher bit the dust and after 3 or so weeks of washing dishes by hand, we gave in and found this beauty. It was on clearance at RC Willey and we got a great deal. It's so fancy too!

We had something pretty sad happen at the beginning of the month. The Gause family moved.
They have kids the same genders and ages as our kids. It's been so fun to watch them grow up together and play together. It was really sad to see them go - especially for Lucy. This was the last of her friends in the neighborhood - the rest have all moved. :(
She started crying after they left and asked who she's supposed to play with now. It made me cry too. I love our neighborhood but it seems as though we get a lot of newlyweds who then have 2 or 3 kids and move. Makes me sad for my kids as they grow. Hopefully she makes friends at school that will want to come play.
The day they actually moved, Ashley's husband and Spencer went to help and I volunteered to watch their kids. Ashley brought her three over and we feed all nine at once. It was crazy, fun, and something that I don't want to do a lot - proof I could never do day care! There are 9 kids aged 6 and under in this pic!
The next week was parent teacher conferences. I had some shopping to do and didn't want to cook, so we had hot dogs at Costco!
I helped out at Lucy's Valentine's Day party. She's showing off her craft and eating a treat all at once here.

Whenever we get a giant box from Amazon, it's party time for a few days.

On Valentine's Day, the kids and Spencer spoiled me. After sleeping in, I found the note at the top telling me to call room service. Then Lucy read from the script she wrote in yellow. After ordering I was treated to pictures and cards and breakfast in bed. It was really sweet. :)

The first grade did a singing program at the end of the month. Eliza and I and Grandma Van Hoose went and had a great time.
