Everyday Moments September 2016

Baby smiles!

Date night with these two handsome guys! We went mini golfing and to dinner.

Big sister love - dancing together. I want to put this picture up when one of them gets married one day!

Our tiny, struggling ward will be getting some relief finally! We had a big meeting showing the new boundaries of the stake and we will be growing. It'll be interesting seeing the changes but they are so needed. Our ward is in pink.

Labor Day picnic at the park.

She looks so big here!

He can still entertained in this swing forever! None of the other kids liked the swing as much.

Laundry!

The result of living in a house divided!

All four kids in one cart at the "Big Orange Store."

Raising him right!

Yet another lost tooth!

Enjoying the leaves and beautiful weather with my boys at Silver Lake.

Daddy and his girls.

Eliza wanted to match Joey.

All ready for the second consignment sale! This time I brought some cute helpers.

Playing at The Museum of Natural Curiosity.

Joey on his "joey" blanket from Grandma Great Mac.

Watching Soccer.

Kitty love.

All ready for a bike ride!

Joey 3 Months

This handsome guy gets more and more alert each day!

He is super smiley and loves to coo.

He is getting really good at holding up his head, and can almost roll over.

He has slept up to 7 hours at a time at night but has not yet made a habit of it!

Sometimes when I look at him I can't even remember what he looked like with the oxygen! I think I'll always remember the sound of that monitor though!

He loves trying to stuff his fist in his mouth - cracks me up!

Love this little man!

Fall Soccer

We decided to play fall soccer this year.

There were too many volunteers for Lucy's age group so Spencer didn't coach her team.

She had fun but it was interesting deal with different coaches and the bigger field.

Her team picked the name Squids, which totally cracked me up.

She gets better and better every year!

Sam moved up a division as well - to more rules and a bigger field.

Spencer coached his team - the Fireballs.

The weather was perfect for fall soccer but the season is so condensed that it's a bit nuts.

Each team plays twice a week - on either Tuesday or Thursday, and on Saturday. Add practices to that and we practically lived at the soccer fields in September. It's a good thing the weather was so nice!

This guy got so good too! I love watching them play soccer!

Joey's Blessing

September 4th we blessed Joseph in church. Friends and family came (and marveled at our tiny ward - which is getting bigger soon! Yay for boundary changes!)

Afterward we had a luncheon at our place and it was so nice to visit.

Joey wore the same outfit his Daddy did when he was blessed, and that big brother Sam did.

The shoes were added by Nana Manwill, though he managed to lose one on the way up front for the blessing!

Joey 2 Months

This handsome guy turned 2 months old!

He had his first round of shots and did great with them.

He's 11 lbs. 5.5 oz (41%) & 22.4 in (31%).

He has started smiling (though it's so hard to catch on camera!) and cooing.

He's sleeping just as you'd expect - waking two to three times at night. Spencer usually feeds him once with a bottle, which is so, so nice!

Joey is such a cuttle bug and we love him so much!
